I guess I really like a good book and I have read many many books over the years. If it's fiction or non-fiction I really don't care. Sometimes I'll read one page or twenty pages or the whole book. If I make it past page 100 then that's a good sign I'll probably finish it. And sometimes the book is so damn good I start reading it all over again right after I've finished it.

Below I've listed some of my favorite authors who, in my humble opinion, have written classics. I can pick up any book written by these folks and know I'm going to be thoroughly entertained and informed and a lot smarter. After I put this list together I noticed it was mostly guys. I must prefer books by guys. That's strange because, when it comes to musicians, I prefer girls.
